Saving the farm: Guard QRF averts repeat flood disaster

response force team that has been sent to the rural home, which has been
surrounded by miles of floodwater, by the Cass County tactical operations

near Harwood, N.D. A joint government agency team is evacuating Tenold from
his home, at his request, as floodwater surrounds his residence, making it
impossible for him to get out on his own. The team is an example of how
agencies are working together to help others during the 2011 Red River
Valley flood. As of Saturday April 9, about 480 N.D. Air and Army Guardsmen
were conducting flood operations.
