Soldiers establish communications in Slovakia

NY Soldiers, Airmen represent US at South African contest

New York Army National Guard Soldiers and Airmen on the range in Potchefstroom, South Africa, during the South African Military Skills Competition Oct. 24, 2019. The New York Army and Air National Guard sent five Soldiers and five Airmen to participate in the competition, which included teams from the United Kingdom, Germany, the Congo, Nigeria and South Africa. The New York National Guard has been linked to the South African National Defence Force through a State Partnership Program since 2003.

Texas Guard Special Forces Soldiers honored by Czechs

30th ABCT reunites with equipment in Kuwait

U.S. Soldiers in the 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team assist in the line-up and preparation of vehicles for movement to their base in Kuwait after being off-loaded from ships at Shuaiba Port, Kuwait, Oct. 21-25, 2019.  The unit is mobilized to support Operation Spartan Shield and is comprised of units from the North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio and West Virginia Army National Guard.

109th Airlift Wing to support science missions in Antarctica

An LC-130 "Skibird" assigned to the New York Air National Guard's 109th Airlift Wing between missions at McMurdo Station, Antarctica, the National Science Foundation research center in Antarctica on Dec. 2, 2018. The 109th Airlift Wing flies the largest ski-equipped aircraft in the world, which can land on snow and ice.

Georgia Guard unit makes history with unique mission
