NY Air National Guard firefighters train in South Africa

Firefighters from the New York Air National Guard's 109th Airlift Wing at Stratton Air National Guard Base near Schenectady, N.Y., training at Table Mountain National Park in Cape Town, South Africa, Nov. 20, 2019. The New York National Guard sent 11 firefighters from the 109th to South Africa as part of the State Partnership Program between the New York National Guard and the South African National Defence Force.
30th ABCT joins British soldiers for MEDEVAC training

U.S. Army medics from the 145th Armor Regiment, 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team, in the Ohio Army National Guard, join British soldiers from 2nd Battalion, Mercian Regiment, and flight medics from Golf Company, 5-159 Aviation Regiment, U.S. Army Reserves, to conduct joint MEDEVAC cold-load training at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, Nov. 23, 2019. The training is to ensure interoperability of equipment and procedures in the event life saving measures and medical evacuation are requested.
