Dale Earnhardt Jr. works with Hendrick Motorsports team members in a garage at the Daytona International Speedway Feb. 16 for NASCAR's Nationwide Series Camping World 300. Earnhardt drove the National Guard sponsored No. 5 car that day to finish third after starting 19th. The following day, Earnhardt drove the Amp/National Guard co-sponsored No. 88 car in NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series 50th running of the Daytona 500. He led that race three times for 12 laps and finished ninth.

The complex includes a state-of-the-art courtroom designed to facilitate military commissions. Joint Task Force Guantanamo conducts safe and humane care and custody of detained enemy combatants. The JTF conducts interrogation operations to collect strategic intelligence in support of the Global War on Terrorism and supports law enforcement and war crimes investigations.

Idaho Army National Guard Soldiers from the 145th Brigade Support Battalion shoveled snow off Timberlake High School Feb. 2 in Spirit Lake, Idaho. Sixty-three Guardmembers deployed to remove snow from the roofs of nine schools in the northern part of the state after four feet of snow crippled school systems in three counties.
