Minnesota Guard joins with community to battle flood

Residents of Moorhead, Minn., unload sandbags from the back of a Palletized Loading System truck from the Minnesota Army National Guard's E Company, 2nd Combined Arms Battalion, 136th Infantry regiment, and stack them in an area along the Red River, Thursday, March 26, 2009. Moorhead is expected to be hit with major flooding as the Red River continues to rise as a result of rain and snowmelt and is expected to crest at 41 feet by the end of the week. More than 250 Minnesota National Guard Soldiers and Airmen have been calle dup to state active duty to assist local authorities with traffic control, security as well as other tasks.

Sgt. Reveles is a native of Las Cruces, N.M. and is deployed from the 204th Security Forces Squadron at Biggs Army Airfield, Fort Bliss and El Paso, Texas Air National Guard.
