Afghanistan. They were among the more than 100 returning Airmen of the 193rd
Special Operations Wing's 201st Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational
Repair Squadron Engineers. Their mission was to build and repair military
infrastructures that support missions theater wide.

Two Army Guard installations win DoD environmental awards

American Indian tribal representatives hold a prayer at Warm Springs in Camp Guernsey's South Training Area during a 2008 tribal consultation meeting field trip. Native American consultation is a key component of Camp Guernsey's cultural resources management program. A tribal monitoring program is in place for ground-disturbing projects; tribes visit on a rotating basis to participate in fieldwork and surveys.

Wisconsin Guard asset remains ready for state emergencies

The evaluation is required every 18 months for unit certification. In the exercise scenario, a winter concert by rock groups promoting animal cruelty was sabotaged with chemical, biological and radiological materials by an animal rights group.

Gov. Pat Quinn, Consul General of Poland Zygmunt Matynia and Army Brig. Gen. Robert J. Pratt gathered at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Chicago April 13, 2010. Quinn, along with Illinois National Guard leaders, gathered at the consulate to pay respects to the Polish president, military leaders and other dignitaries, who were killed in the April 10 plane crash.
