Oregon Guardsmen redeploy to Fort Lewis

The first group of Soldiers with the 41st Infantry Brigade Combat Team of the Oregon Army National Guard arrived at McChord Air Force Base, Wash., April 3, 2010. About 120 Soldiers returned after their nearly 12-month deployment to Iraq. The 2,700 Soldiers with the 41st IBCT are expected to arrive at Fort Lewis, Wash., in the next few weeks, where they will go through medical review and out-processing before returning to Oregon for their demobilization ceremonies scheduled for later this month.

Arkansas Air Guard deploys for first time with A-10s

The 188th currently has over 200 of its members deployed as part of the 451st Air Expeditionary Wing at Kandahar. The ADT Team is in Kandahar for some training before moving out to their forward operating base.
