South Dakota National Guard kicks off international exercise Golden Coyote

Soldiers from the 860th Military Police Company, Arizona Army National Guard, and the Danish Home Guard Force Protection Platoon, conduct a joint patrol on West Camp Rapid during the Golden Coyote training exercise June 10, 2012, near Rapid City, S.D. National Guard, U.S. Reserve and international forces use the exercise as an opportunity to conduct joint training in support of overseas contingency operations and homeland defense.

Soldiers from the Arizona Army National Guard's Company A, 2nd Battalion, 285th Aviation Regiment use a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter to draw and drop water through the use of a buoy wall and a Bambi Bucket during wildfire firefighting training at the Buckeye Armed Forces Reserve Center, Ariz. Humanitarian aid bound for Haiti, delivered by Kentucky Air National Guard

Air Force Staff Sgt. Raymond Graves III, an air cargo specialist with the Kentucky Air National Guard's 123rd Logistics Readiness Squadron, secures cargo netting on a pallet of humanitarian goods bound for Haiti. The Kentucky Air Guard is transporting humanitarian aid items through a program with the U.S. Agency for Internal Development, something they did in 2010 after an earthquake struck the country.
