The 997th Brigade Support Battalion deployed Stranded Motorists Assistance Response Teams to patrol roads in northwest Kansas on Nov. 18, 2015, searching for stranded motorists. Four vehicles and 10 personnel were activated due to blizzard conditions.

To practice looking for potential security breaches during training, members of the Louisiana Army and Air National Guard who are on the CDIRT log onto computers formatted to duplicate common operating systems and website platforms and look for unusual activity that may indicate that a hacker is actively compromising a state website.

Air National Guard director receives Order of the Sword invitation

Air Force Lt. Gen. Stanley E. Clarke, III, director, Air National Guard, is presented the Order of the Sword invitation from Chief Master Sgt. James W. Hotaling, command chief master sergeant of the Air National Guard, at 10 House Fire Department, New York, Nov. 11, 2015. The Air Force enlisted corps established the Order of the Sword to recognize and honor military senior officers for significant contributions to the enlisted force.

Members of the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division participated in Anchorage's first-ever Veterans Day Parade on Nov. 7, 2015.
