South Carolina National Guard shares importance of reserve force with Colombian leaders

U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Robert E. Livingston, Jr., the adjutant general of South Carolina, participates in a panel discussion during the Colombian Army Transformation Symposium, Bogota, Colombia, Aug. 5, 2016.  Livingston’s discussions included the advantages of having a reserve force and challenges of developing a robust reserve component.  The South Carolina National Guard and the Colombian military began the State Partnership relationship in July 2012 and have continued to deepen the partnership.

Tennessee National Guard serves with state partner Bulgaria

Local cattle and sheep herders regularly herd thier animals across NSTA.  Tennessee National Guard Soldiers and Airmen were on rotations to complete thier portions of projects as part of Operation Resolute Castle 16, an ongoing operation of military construction to build up Eastern European base infrastructure and help strengthen ties between Tennessee's state partnership with Bulgaria.

North Carolina National Guard trains with rural responders in hostage, drug lab scenario

Texas National Guard hosts Chilean undersecretary

Through the States Partnership Program, Texas has been partnered with Chile since 2009. The program is designed to link a State’s National Guard with a partner nation’s military forces government agencies in a cooperative, mutually beneficial relationship.
