That may  include a golf cart-sized robot designed to carry a squad's equipment as well as advances in autonomous vehicles that follow a lead vehicle driven by Soldiers.

State partnership links D.C National Guard and Burkina Faso

Moses Miningou, the chief of general staff for the National Armed Forces of Burkina Faso, and U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Airmen assigned to the New York Air National Guard's 174th Attack Wing prepare vehicles to deploy at Hancock Field Air National Guard Base in Syracuse, N.Y. as part of an Immediate Response Force at the direction of New York Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo as extremely cold weather hit western and central New York on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019.
