Virginia Guard Conducts Infantry Tactics Exchange in Tajikistan

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Fort Barfoot-based 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute, conduct an infantry tactics exchange with soldiers from the Republic of Tajikistan’s Ministry of Defense Peacekeeping Battalion March 3-8, 2024, in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The Virginia Guard and Tajikistan are partners through the Department of Defense National Guard Bureau State Partnership Program.

The Burlington, Vermont, City Council voted unanimously March 25, 2024, to forge a sister city relationship with Thies-East, Senegal.

Pennsylvania National Guard Hosts Lithuania Foreign Minister

Alex Stewart, State Partnership Program director, gave the delegation a tour that included the Training Support Center, live fire ranges and the Eastern Army National Guard Aviation Training Site at Muir Army Heliport.
