Kuwait: Minnesota Army National Guard members supporting the drawdown

Army National guard member's Army Spc. Tyler Dooley and Capt. Joseph Sanganoo ensure the Rhino of a Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle is working properly before going on a recent convoy in Iraq. Dooley and Sanganoo, along with the rest of soldiers from 1-194 AR (CAB), are part of the Minnesota-based 1st Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry "Red Bull" Division, currently deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation New Dawn, the final stage in post-combat operations in Iraq.

Afghanistan: Oklahoma National Guard, Afghan National army join forces to weaken insurgency

The Alaska National Guard State Partnership Program Ribbon is divided into three vertical sections of blue, gold and red, representing the significance of the partnership between Alaska and the Republic of Mongolia by representing the colors of each of their flags. The blue represents the eternal skies expanding above both nations, the red symbolizes progress and prosperity and the gold signifies wealth.
