Trans-Pacific disaster exercise Gobi Wolf 2017 concludes in Mongolia

National Guard engineers make their own path in Romania

Resolute Castle 17 is an exercise strengthening the NATO alliance and enhancing its capacity for joint training and response to threats within the region.

Salvadoran partners engage in Best Warrior Competition with New Hampshire Soldiers

Rudy Santos Santos of Comando Especial Antiterrorista of the El Salvadoran Army operates an M249 light machine gun during the New Hampshire National Guard's 2017 Best Warrior competition at New Castle April 9. This year marked the first time two Soldiers from El Salvador, New Hampshire’s State Military partner, competed in the three-day competition alongside 22 New Hampshire Guardsmen, showing off skills in marksmanship, first aid, physical training and land navigation among others.

STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing strip) - Soldiers from Colorado National Guard 947th Engineer Company heavy-equipment operators are moving earth in the training area to develop a short takeoff, landing strip (STOL) for unmanned aircraft (UAS) flight training April 5, Hohenfels, Germany. The Joint Multinational Readiness Center's Troop Construction 2017 effort identifies and resources projects for military engineer construction units. The annual project's intent is to provide units Mission Essential Task List (METL) training opportunities while simultaneously enhancing the JMRC training capabilities.

Frisian Flag is an exercise, similar to Red Flag, led by the Royal Netherlands Air Force. The 159th Fighter Wing is deployed to Europe as part of a Theater Security Package.
