Air National Guard Band of the Lakes to be decommissioned after 90 years of service

Members of the Air National Guard's Band of the Lakes - more commonly known as the Triple Nickel from the days when it was named 555th Air Force Band. The Triple Nickel, which has been in existence since the 1920s will be decommissioned in 2013.

Fishing program offers wounded military troops a safe haven, relaxation

Army Soldiers, assigned to the Warrior Transition Battalion on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., stand with civilians - most of whom are military veterans - Dec. 3, 2011, after a sturgeon fishing trip on the Columbia River. The trip was initiated by the Wounded Veterans Fishing Program, a non-profit organization started by Danny Gabriel, under which veterans invite Soldiers with JBLM's WTB onto their boats for a Saturday of fishing.
