Florida Airmen put joint training to use in hurricane exercise

Naval Air Station Key West's Search and Rescue team delivers a sling load of communications equipment to NAS Key West's Saddlebunch Key after picking it up from Fleming Key. The equipment move was part of a communications training operation for the Florida Air National Guard's 290th Joint Communications Support Squadron out of MacDill Air Force Base.

From Port-au-Prince to West Point: Maryland Guard's first graduate

Newly commissioned 2nd Lt. Alix Schoelcher Idrache, became the Maryland Army National Guard's first United States Military Academy, also known as West Point, graduate on May 21, 2016. Idrache, originally from Haiti, graduated at the top of his class in physics and will attend Army Aviation school at Fort Rucker, Alabama.
