Alaska Air Guard members rescue pilot after plane crashes

An Alaska Air National Guard HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter from the 210th Rescue Squadron Detachment 1, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska prepares to take off June 9, 2016, in the Joint Pacific Alaskan Range Complex. A similar helicopter was used April 11, 2017, in the rescue of a downed civilian pilot.

Army Guard members take third place; make strong showing at Best Ranger competition

New York National Guard Marks 100th Anniversary of the Day the U.S. entered World War 1
April 10, 2017
New York Lt. Gov. Kath Hochul speaks during a World War 1 Centennial commemorative ceremony held at New York National Guard headquarters in Latham, N.Y. on April 6, 2017. The event marked the 100th anniversary of the American entry into World War I. The 42nd Infantry Division's World War I Color Guard played a role in the ceremony.

California National Guard and state fire agency begin training for 2017 blazes
