California Air Guard medevacs stroke victim from cruise ship

A U.S. Air Force HC-130J Combat King II aircraft from the 129th Rescue Wing flies over the Ruby Princess cruise ship 345 nautical miles from San Francisco Feb. 11, 2022. The Airmen evacuated an ill passenger who needed transportation off the ship.

Nebraska Guard assists with civilian airplane emergency

A Nebraska Army National Guard UH-60 crew chief and flight medic assist civilian copilots, both of whom were unharmed, after their small airplane made an emergency landing Feb. 10, 2022, in a cornfield outside Lincoln, Neb. The UH-60 crew had been on a nighttime training flight at the time of the emergency and were able to locate the crash site and relay the location to first responders.
