Vermont Army Guard Leads Training Exercise in Arctic Circle

An advance team of Soldiers and Airmen arrive in the Arctic to prepare for Guerrier Nordique. The Artctic Circle exercise in March 2023 will include Soldiers from the Vermont, Utah, Connecticut and New Hampshire National Guard, the New York Air National Guard, the National Guard Bureau, the 11th Airborne Division, and the 34th and 35th Canadian Brigade Group in Quebec province.

175th Wing Sharpens CSAR Skills During Sunshine Rescue

US, Senegal launch medical exercise in Thies

U.S. Army and Air Force medical professionals with the Vermont National Guard receive an orientation of the Mbour Hospital Feb. 20 during the start of the MEDREX Senegal 2023 medical readiness exercise. The 40-person U.S. team will work for two weeks alongside Senegalese hospital professionals at the Thies Regional Hospital and two smaller hospitals.

Virginia National Guardsmen Return From Overseas Duty

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the 576th Engineer Utilities Detachment, 276th Engineer Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group, return to Virginia Feb. 10, 2023, after serving on federal active duty in Southwest Asia since May. The Soldiers  supported U.S. Central Command’s Operation Spartan Shield.

West Virginia Army Guard Wins Top Environmental Award

109th Retrograde Cargo Team Builds Pallets at South Pole
