Representatives from Lithuania's Army Training Center visited the installation Feb. 2, 2016, to get an in-depth look at the operation of some of the training facilities located here‬ and gauge best practices and lessons learned in operating them as they develop similar live-fire and combined-arms training resources to train their soldiers. The Pennsylvania National Guard established a relationship with Lithuania in 1993 as part of the ‪National Guard‬'s State Partnership Program.

Chilean forces compete in Texas Guard Best Warrior Competition

Guard Your Health recently launched its #WarriorReady Workout Video series, which includes 15-second videos that demonstrate how to do quick, high-intensity workouts. The workouts are customizable and can be done anywhere. There are 14 different workout videos and each one focuses on a full-body workout.

Lt. Col. William LeCates, a New York Army National Guard doctor, stands with Capt. Airmen assigned to the 134th Air Control Squadron climb aboard buses and deploy from McConnell Air Force Base in support of operations Nov. 11, 2015. The squadron's departure was part of a much larger mobilization of the 184th Intelligence Wing that deployed members to locations all over the world, making it one of the largest deployments in the wing's recent history.

Bronze Star for Valor awarded to two New York Air National Guard Airmen killed in Afghanistan

Staff Sgt. Louis Bonacasa, left, and Tech Sgt. Joseph Lemm, both members of the New York Air National Guard's 105th Airlift Wing's 105th Base Defense Squadron, killed in action in Afghanistan on Dec. 21, 2015, have been awarded the Bronze Star with V for Valor for their actions that day. The two Air Guardsmen were honored for giving their lives to save other Airmen from a suicide bomber. Four other Airmen died alongside them.
