South African National Defense Force leaders learn logistics from New York Guard members

The engagement was part of the New York Guard's partnership with the Republic of South Africa through the National Guard Bureau's State Partnership Program.

Cameroon: National Guard joins 36 nations in Africa's largest communications exercise

Air Force Lt. Col. Jeff Marks, of the Illinois Air National Guard's 183rd Fighter Wing, works with officers from Gambia and Togo during Operation Africa Endeavor in Doula, Cameroon. National Guard members from two states and the District of Columbia are participating in the annual communications exercise sponsored by U.S. Africa Command, which focuses on the interoperability of equipment and information sharing among military representatives throughout the African Union and partner nations.
