Partnership benefits New Hampshire Guard, El Salvador

U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Reddel met with Salvadoran military officials as part of the State Partnership Program, which builds relationships between the National Guard in the states and territories and partnered nations worldwide. New Hampshire is in its 12th year of partnering with El Salvador.

Armed Forces of Liberia completes legal training program with Michigan Guard members

About 50 AFL service members, including military police officers, investigators and paralegals, completed the three-week course that taught basics in detainee operations and military law procedures, among other topics. The legal training was one in a series of capacity building events designed to promote the developing AFL, which is being retrained and reequipped following several years of national strife.

New Hampshire Guard fosters deeper connection with El Salvador

Florida expects productive year for State Partnership mission in 2012

Michigan Guard Airman builds partnership in Liberia

Air Force Master Sgt. Leslie Blanks returned home to Michigan, Jan. 6, 2012, after a 6-month deployment to Liberia. Blanks is a member of the 127th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich. The Michigan National Guard and the Armed Forces of Liberia recently entered into a partnership program. Blanks worked as a mentor and adviser to a group of Liberian military personnel during his deployment.
