Michigan and Liberia partner in promoting the rule of law

Counterparts from U.S. African Command, the Michigan National Guard, and the Armed Forces of Liberia participate in a remote meeting January 20, 2021, as a part of an initiative of U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM)’s Office of Legal Counsel known as Command Advice, Investigations, and Coordination (CAIC, pronounced “cake”).

KFOR conducts radio tower maintenance

US, Italian troops train to recover downed aircraft

Erbil Air Base among 1st in CENTCOM to receive COVID vaccine

Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) received 300 vaccines for the Combined Joint Operations Area, 110 of those were administered at EAB.

Halfway through deployment, 28th ECAB remains focused

A CH-47 Chinook helicopter, operated by Soldiers with Bravo Company, 3-238th General Support Aviation Battalion, 28th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade, flies over the 28th ECAB's area of operations in the Middle East during a routine flight mission. Soldiers with the 28th ECAB recently passed the midway point of their deployment.

KFOR conducts sweeper operation

U.S. Soldiers assigned to Kosovo Force, Regional Command-East, conduct a helicopter landing site clearance operation at Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo on Dec. 23, 2020. Soldiers with the 3rd Battalion, 238th General Support Aviation Battalion, Delaware Army National Guard, the 702nd Ordnance Company, Grafenwoehr, Germany, and 1st Squadron, 113th Cavalry Regiment, Iowa Army National Guard, came together to carry out the first HLS clearing operation assigned to KFOR 28.

Iowa National Guard trains with Ukrainian forces
