Missouri Guard member serves in Afghanistan with her son

Staff Sgt. Denise Leo, an administrative noncommissioned officer with the Missouri National Guard’s 1438th Multi-Role Bridge Company, with her son, Spc. Ryan Dryer, a mechanic with the same unit. Both volunteered for the deployment and have been serving in Afghanistan for about six months, supporting their unit's mission of maintaining bridges in Afghanistan.
