German combat engineers support Golden Coyote

A member of a German combat engineer unit saws through a beam of an informational kiosk being constructed in the Black Hills National Forest on Victoria Lake Road June 19, 2010. The unit from Germany is teamed up with soldiers from the South Dakota Army National Guard's 155th Engineer Company during Golden Coyote, in conjunction with the Small Unit Exchange Program. The German unit will construct two kiosks before they depart for home June 26.

The Air Force is set to deliver the first of 18 new F-16 C/D Block 52 Fighting Falcon jet fighters to the Pakistan air force. The aircraft will give Pakistan's military an unprecedented advantage against violent extremists who threaten Pakistan and the region, officials said, by enabling precision targeting in all weather conditions, day and night.
