North Dakota Guard conduct training on new bridge equipment

Soldiers of the North Dakota Army National Guard’s 957th Engineer Company (Multi-Role Bridge Company) work on securing the Improved Ribbon Bridge (IRB) emplaced on the Missouri River south of Bismarck, N.D., June 10-11, 2010. MKII Bridge Erection Boats (BEB) are depicted on both sides of the bridge as a backhoe is crossing the bridge. The 957th participated in an evaluation of the new “Thrust and Shore Guy” anchorage system with Product Manager Bridging, Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM), TACOM Research, Development and Engineer Center (TARDEC), Maneuver Support Center of Excellence, and the National Guard Bureau.
