C-23 Sherpa makes final flight as Army Guard retires the venerable aircraft

An aircrew from the California Army National Guard’s Detachment 1, Company I, 185th Theater Aviation Brigade, flies a C-23 Sherpa aircraft over San Diego, Calif. The cargo plane, which has served the Army National Guard since the early 1990’s, has recently been retired by the Army Guard.
