Civil engineers help ensure infrastructure safety

Members of the Colorado Air National Guard's 240th Civil Engineering Flight use a tape measure to measure the size of damage to a bridge affected by floodwaters in Loveland, Colo., Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013. Members of the squadron have been working with the Colorado Department of Transportation assessing the structural integrity of bridges throughout areas affected by the flooding. More than 750 guard members have been working with local, state and federal authorities in response to flooding in central Colorado as a result of heavy rains in the area.

New York Army National Guard aviation unit helps stop drugs
