Wyoming National Guard and Tunisia continue to perfect partnership

In 2016, the Wyoming National Guard began the Humanitarian Mining Action mission, a State Partnership Program-leveraged program, in Tunisia. The HMA is a Department of Defense program that provides education and training in finding, clearing and securing land mines and other explosive remnants of war. In March 2017, a team of engineers from the Wyoming Army National Guard traveled to Tunisia to assist with advising them on building a culvert that would act as a training site in finding and clearing culverts of explosive hazards.

New York Airmen in right place to manage serious car crash

Tech Sgt. Seth Stucker, first sergeant assigned to the 274th Air Support Operations Squadron, New York Air National Guard, Syracuse, is one of two Airmen along with Tech Sgt. Brandon Mason, a support services specialist assigned to the 274th ASOS, who responded to the scene of a car accident outside of the main gate of Hancock Airfield, April 4, 2017. Stucker, who has a medical background in the Air Force, was first on the scene to render aid to the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle that crashed, until EMS and other local emergency services arrived.

Brown Training and Education Center mixed-use facility, Buildings 418, 414A-B, is a 46,871 square foot classroom and dormitory facility for training and education at McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base in east Tennessee. The facility was constructed from August 2014 to January 2017.

Salvadoran partners engage in Best Warrior Competition with New Hampshire Soldiers

This year marked the first time two Soldiers from El Salvador, New Hampshire’s State Military partner, competed in the three-day competition alongside 22 New Hampshire Guardsmen, showing off skills in marksmanship, first aid, physical training and land navigation among others.

National Guard's senior enlisted leaders join efforts to collaborate

He also toured TEC’s campus, meet professional military education students and attended the afternoon retreat ceremony with students and staff.
