Alaska Air Guard members rescue two plane crash survivors

Alaska Air National Guard Guardian Angel personnel assigned to the 212th Rescue Squadron descend over Malemute drop zone during precision parachute training at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Jan. 24, 2018. The busiest rescue force in the Department of Defense, the 212th Rescue Squadron provides elite pararescuemen (PJs), combat rescue officers (CROs) and Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) specialists to carry out the 176th Wing’s wartime and peacetime rescue missions.

Pennsylvania Guard activates in response to July floods

Members of the Pennsylvania Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team were put on standby at the Aviation Flight Facility in Johnstown, Pa.in response to flooding that took place through much of Central Pennsylvania. The team is part of Task Force Aviation, with Soldiers from the 28th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade , Eastern Army National Guard Aviation Training Site and civilian rescue technicians on the team. N.C. National Guard conducts cyber exercise with Moldova

California's quick-responding 270th MPs aiding in Carr Fire

Army National Guard finds its Best Warriors at competition

Calif. Guard provides critical intelligence for Carr Fire
