W. Va. National Guard, partners rehearse for football games

Oklahoma, Kansas Guard support communities after storms

Oklahoma Army National Guard Soldiers from Company B, 1st Battalion, 279th Infantry Regiment, stack sandbags in order to slow the spread of flood waters in Sandy Parks, Oklahoma. Oklahoma Army National Guard Soldiers assisted several Oklahoma communities following record rain fall and numerous tornados. The Guard members' assistance included swift water rescue, filling and distributing sandbags and delivering purified, potable water.

N.Y. Air Guard's 106th Rescue Wing welcomes new aircraft

The 106th presented the rescue aircraft during a ceremony, the first of four brand new such models from Lockheed Martin, the first time in the 106th's 72 year history that is has received aircraft new from the manufacturer and will be flown by the wing's 102nd Rescue Squadron, the oldest unit in the Air National Guard.

Soldiers honored in Cincinnati for saving man's life

New Mexico Army National Guard Soldiers Spc. Roberto Sandoval and Pfc. RaeJean Lucero, both 68W’s (Combat Medics), were honored by The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati on May 16, 2019. The Soldiers were responsible for saving the life of a man who was seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident.  Sandoval and Lucero are participants in the Strategic Medical Asset Readiness Training (SMART) program with The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
