SPP spirit spurs Romania to help Alabama fight COVID-19

Romania sent 15 military medical and other experts to assist the U.S. domestic COVID-19 response. Romania and Alabama are partners under the National Guard Bureau's State Partnership Program.

The exchange takes place as part of the Rhode Island National Guard’s partnership with the Commonwealth of The Bahamas through the State Partnership Program. Rhode Island has been partnered with The Bahamas since 2005.

Arkansas Guard stays in touch with Guatemalan partners

The Arkansas National Guard held a videoconference with key military leaders from Guatemala on COVID-19 best practices and other issues May 6, 2020, as part of the State Partnership Program. The meeting was scheduled in March in Guatemala but was changed to a videoconference due to the coronavirus.

Polish medical team, Illinois Guard side-by-side in COVID-19 response
