New York National Guard honors Korean War MIA

New York Army National Guard Soldiers carry the remains of Korean War MIA Cpl. Robert Charles Agard Jr. during his funeral ceremony honors May 27, 2022, at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Elmira, N.Y. Agard was returned home after more than 70 years listed as missing in action following his death in North Korea.
Idaho Army National Guard fires precision-guided munitions

The Idaho Army National Guard’s 1st of the 148th Field Artillery Regiment conducted live-fire training using the M109A6 Paladin and more than 80 high explosive rounds during its annual training at the Orchard Combat Training Center May 12-27, 2022. Training included its first live-fire exercise using the U.S. Army’s modernized M1156 Precision Guidance Kit, a GPS smart fuze attachment that enabled the battalion to convert its existing 155 mm artillery shells into smart weapons and improve target trajectory.

Arizona National Guard delivers for Operation Patriot Press

Soldiers from the Arizona Army National Guard’s 222nd Transportation Company returned home after hauling approximately 2 million pounds of munitions over 5,100 miles of desert, mountains and plains to support the U.S. Army’s Operation Patriot Press.
