Vermont National Guard Hosts SPP Partner North Macedonia

Virginia National Guard Soldiers Conduct Mountain Warfare Exchange in Tajikistan

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the 91st Cyber Brigade conduct a mountain warfare exchange and an advanced tactical planning exchange with soldiers from the Republic of Tajikistan May 16-20, 2022, in Romit, Tajikistan. Virginia and Tajikistan are partners under the Department of Defense National Guard Bureau State Partnership Program.

Vermont Guard, Senegalese Air Force conduct aviation exchange

Vermont Army National Guard rotary-wing pilots with 86th Troop Command conducted an aviation exchange with Senegalese Air Force pilots March 13-19, 2022. During the exchange, part of the State Partnership Program, the pilots discussed aviation safety and visited Senegalese Air Force facilities.

Dylan Wagner, explosive ordnance disposal technician, 123rd Airlift Wing, Aug. 22, 2021, in Djibouti City, Djibouti. Kentucky National Guard Engineers with the 577th Sapper Company and 123rd Airlift Wing traveled more than 15,000 miles to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, to train with the Djiboutian military demining company as a part of the State Partnership Program.

Members of the Vermont National Guard attend a celebration for Army Day at the Ministry of Defense in Skopje, North Macedonia, Aug. 18, 2021. The holiday commemorates the creation of the Mirče Acev battalion in 1943. The battalion laid the foundation of the People's Liberation Army of Macedonia that fought against the Axis forces during WWII.
