New Mexico military police give a makeover to Costa Rican school site

Langlitz and Romero are members of 1st  Platoon, 919th  Military Police Company, New Mexico National Guard which were guests at the Escuela Nacional de Policía in nearby Murciélago for their Annual Training. The project was part of their community improvement day.

The project is a Humanitarian Civic Assistance project made possible by the U.S. European Command in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Zagreb, Croatia.

West Virginia welcomes Peruvian MPs during State Partnership Program visit

West Virginia’s Camp Dawson was home to five Peruvian officers June 15 to 19, continuing a 20-year partnership between Peru’s Army and the West Virginia Army National Guard.The WVARNG’s 151st Military Police Battalion hosted the visit, the first time that branch has been involved in the West Virginia-Peru State Partnership Program. The Peruvian officers observed the 157th Military Police Company's annual training, granting them the opportunity to interact with WVARNG Soldiers and share knowledge.

South Carolina National Guard hosts Colombian military law experts during exchange

The week-long information exchange with Colombian military and National Police legal experts focused on human rights and operational law.

Nevada coaches record number of agencies in Tonga on drug identification

A record number of agencies, 10, were on board for the Nevada National Guard/Kingdom of Tonga State Partnership Program exchange here May 9-13 that focused on drug identification and included two maritime sessions that spotlighted ship embarkment and evidence discovery.

New Mexico National Guard medics share knowledge with Costa Rican Coast Guard members

Twenty-two Costa Rican Guarda Costas attended a two-day workshop conducted by Sgt. 1st. Class David Muniz and Sgt. Michael Marfia, medics from New Mexico National Guard, as part of the National Guard Bureau's State Partnership Program. Marfia explains how to properly apply a tourniquet to a leg wound to half of the participants. Muniz and Marfia shared their medical knowledge with the Coast Guard members on topics ranging from anatomy, triage, assessing breathing and consciousness, applying a tourniquet, splinting broken limbs and responding to a mass casualty incident.
