New York Guard Airman Honored for Rescuing Car Crash Victim

U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Joshua Carter, the director of the 174th Operations Support Squadron's commander's action group, is presented with the New York State Medal for Valor during an award ceremony at Hancock Field Air National Guard Base in Syracuse Nov. 8, 2023. Carter received the award for his lifesaving actions while responding to a car accident last year. Maj. Gen. Raymond Shields, New York adjutant general, and Maj. Gen. Denise Donnell, commander of the New York Air National Guard, presented the award.

Arkansas National Guard Competes in Cyber Challenge
