Minnesota partners for peace help renovate Croatian school

Airmen, aircraft continue Greenland mission

An LC-130 "Skibird" with the 109th Airlift Wing from Stratton Air National Guard Base, Scotia, N.Y., returns to Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, on June 29, 2014, from a mission at Summit Camp. Two LC-130s and 70 Airmen from the Wing recently completed the fourth rotation of the 2014 Greenland season. The unit flies supply and refueling missions to various camps in support of the National Science Foundation and also trains for the Operation Deep Freeze mission in Antarctica.

Members of the Arizona National Guard's 91st Civil Support Team and the Air Force Reserve's 729th Airlift Squadron construct loading ramps on the cargo bay door of a C-17A Globemaster III during a static load training exercise at Williams Gateway Airport in Mesa, Ariz. The two units worked together to enhance the rapid deployment capability of the Arizona's weapons of mass destruction response force June 24.

Air National Guard Bands kick off 2014 national summer tour

Kentucky Air Guard’s 123rd Contingency Response Group completes earthquake response exercise

Personnel from the Kentucky Air National Guard’s 123rd Contingency Response Group push cargo off of a Mississippi Air National Guard C-17 Globemaster III aircraft during exercise CAPSTONE ’14, a disaster response training exercise held at Fort Campbell, Ky. The 123rd CRG joined forces with the U.S. Army’s 688th Rapid Port Opening Element to transport supplies and cargo as part of the exercise scenario.
