Utah Air Guard demonstrates battlespace connectivity

On Aug. 7, 2021, the Utah Air National Guard, in collaboration with Collins Aerospace, successfully demonstrated advanced communication, mission computing and sensor technologies to support JADC2 (Joint All Domain Command and Control) and ABMS (Advanced Battle Management) initiatives on a KC-135 Stratotanker at the Roland R. Wright Air National Guard Base in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Alaska Army National Guard helps rescue injured man

Stefano James, a UH-60L Black Hawk medevac helicopter crew chief, provide critical care to a 75-year-old man after he fell into a river and stopped breathing Aug. 12, 2021. The crew, from Detachment 2, G Company, 2nd Battalion, 211th Aviation Regiment, hoisted the patient into the aircraft and flew him to a hospital after he was revived by a fishing guide.
