Michigan National Guard Soldiers complete new weapons course

U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 4 Dean Miller, 177th Regiment, Regional Training Institute, Michigan Army National Guard, conducts the Army’s new individual weapons qualification course, Fort Custer Training Center, Augusta, Mich., Oct. 15, 2021. The new course replaces the previous annual marksmanship qualification standards with one that requires Soldiers to engage targets faster and to operate as they would in combat.
Ohio National Guard answers the call in Louisiana

1022nd Engineer Co. completes construction projects in Iraq

A team of 1022nd Engineer Company Soldiers in Iraq, led by Staff Sgt. Bryon Granderson, has been working on multiple vertical construction projects at Erbil Air Base, Iraq, including sun shades, chairs and benches, platforms, and most recently, over a dozen sets of staircases. The staircases will be used by U.S. troops, coalition forces and partner nations.
