175th Wing Fire Department Helps Rescue Man from Frigid Water

Airmen assigned to the 175th Wing Fire Department saw into the roof of a simulated burning building to inspect for fire hazards during Operation Frosty Strike Nov. 30, 2023, at Martin State Air National Guard Base, Middle River, Md. Operation Frosty Strike was a full-scale readiness exercise that demonstrated the 175th Wing’s ability to survive and operate in a realistic combat environment against a near-peer adversary while fulfilling its federally assigned missions.
Alabama Air Guard's 187th Fighter Wing Receives F-35 Jets

Red Arrow Veteran Awarded Purple Heart Medal Posthumously

Maj. Eric Van Hout, an administrative officer with the Wisconsin Army National Guard’s 2nd Battalion, 127th Infantry Regiment, and Command Sgt. Maj. Ryan Johnson, battalion command sergeant major, present a Purple Heart medal to Mike Muthig, the grandson of World War I veteran Pvt. George Arts. Arts enlisted in the battalion’s Company I and was severely wounded Aug. 4, 1918, during the battalion’s assault on the town of Fismes.
