The New Mexico National Guard helped set up this 50-bed alternate care facility in Gallup that began accepting patients April 25, 2020. Guard members also established a 200-bed temporary hospital in Gibson.

Americans onboard a C-17 Globemaster III assigned to the 172nd Airlift Wing, Mississippi Air National Guard, en route back to the United States. The aircrew returned 90 Americans from Panama and Bogota, Colombia, to Florida April 1-2, 2020.
