Chaplain (Maj.) Eli Bohnen, a rabbi serving with the division, and his assistant, Cpl. Eli Heimberg, created a division Haggadah specifically for the Passover seder. The division Haggadah is believed to be the first Jewish ritual printing in Germany since the rise of the Nazis to power in 1933.

The aircraft returned to Oahu after transporting prematurely born twins from Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, to Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, for care at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The C-17 was operated by a Hawaii Air National Guard aircrew from the 204th Airlift Squadron, augmented with a 15th Wing pilot from the 535th Airlift Squadron.
