Every day is Earth Day in Arizona Guard

A prairie dog that made its home on a firing range at Camp Navajo, Ariz., is carefully relocated to a safe living environment by Arizona National Guard environmental office personnel. The environmental office is responsible for protecting local wildlife on Arizona Guard installations as well as lessening the environmental impact of military training operations. For those in the office, every day is Earth Day.

Approximately 600 Massachusetts National Guard members were deployed along the route to assist local authorities in ensuring that the 2014 Boston Marathon is as safe as realistically possible.
