Melina Juan, 117th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment commander, and Sam Wong, ESGR representative all posed for a photo at NAVFAC Pacific headquarters. Rosalin nominated Rochon for this special award for his leadership, mentorship and support for her National Guard deployment requirements.

Dooley and Sanganoo, along with the rest of soldiers from 1-194 AR (CAB), are part of the Minnesota-based 1st Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry "Red Bull" Division, currently deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation New Dawn, the final stage in post-combat operations in Iraq.

The trip was initiated by the Wounded Veterans Fishing Program, a non-profit organization started by Danny Gabriel, under which veterans invite Soldiers with JBLM's WTB onto their boats for a Saturday of fishing.

Approximately 70 percent of Afghanistan is dependent upon agriculture, while most of their food base is dependent upon livestock, animal care and health. More than 35,000 animals have been vaccinated since the ADT's began their mission in Afghanistan.
