Virginia Guard personnel will begin staging Sept. 1 and will be pre-staged and ready Sept. 2 to support potential response missions before Hurricane Earl reaches the Virginia coastline.

Mohammed Abdul Wadud, the principle staff officer for the Armed Forces Division of Bangladesh in Dhaka, Aug. 9, 2010.  Schilling and officials from the Portland International Airport met with Bangladeshi transportation officials to discuss security and safety protocols, based on a collaborative work plan developed in April. The group also discussed joint training and information sharing for disaster response, humanitarian aid, and training exercises as part of an overall SPP strategic plan.
