Virginia, Massachusetts Guard Support Free Clinic in Georgia

Virginia and Massachusetts National Guard Soldiers and Airmen supported a free health clinic offering vision, dental and other basic medical services Aug. 3-18, 2022, in the Columbus, Georgia, area. The clinic was part of the Department of Defense-funded Innovative Readiness Training program.

111th Operations Group Participates in Joint Force Training

A C-17 Globemaster III aircraft from the 305th Air Mobility Wing and its associate reserve unit, the 514th Air Mobility Wing, based at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey,  practices flying a resupply mission into a hostile location while responding to simulated surface to air missiles at Bollen Range on Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania, Aug. 22, 2002. The crew of the C-17 included two 111th Attack Wing personnel who helped integrate MQ-9 support.

Missouri Guard Airmen Perform ‘Wet-Wing’ Defuel for First Time

Airmen assigned to the 139th Logistics Readiness Squadron’s petroleum, oils and lubricants office, Missouri Air National Guard, perform a ‘wet-wing’ defuel of a C-130 Hercules aircraft at Rosecrans Air National Guard Base, St. Joseph, Missouri, Aug. 16, 2022. This was the first time the 139th POL office conducted a ‘wet-wing’ defuel, which means the aircraft engines were running during the operation.
