Ohio Guard tests disaster response with civilian partners

The North Carolina Air National Guard, along with New Hampshire and Maine Air National Guard, flew to Ramstein Air Base, Germany, to work with active duty 1st Combat Communications Squadron. The Air National Guard units assisted in training the active duty unit with set-up, use, and tear-down of a mobile tower and deployable tactical air navigation system.

Georgia Army National Guard welcomes 230 new Soldiers

Caleb Bennett of Rockmart, Georgia, were among the Soldiers recognized with an Army Achievement Medal during a battle handoff ceremony at Fort Stewart. Brown, of the Cumming-based 420th Signal Company and Bennett of the Statesboro-based Georgia Southern Cadet Detachment were the honor graduates of their basic combat training classes.
