Kentucky Guard Soldier posts highest ACFT score yet

Spc. Ryan Sowder is an 88M truck driver for the 2112th Transportation Company based in Burlington, Ky. Sowder recently scored a 597 out of 600 points on the new Army Combat Fitness Test, which is the highest score to date across the force.

N.Y. 109th Airlift Wing sends 'Skibird' to Paris Air Show

The NP2000 propellers, which provide more power and enable fuel economy, are unique and the reason why the wing was invited to attend. The LC-130 Skibird is the largest aircraft in the world which uses skis to land on snow and ice.
