Louisiana Guard continues flood fight

The LANG has rescued more than 3,400 people and 400 pets during search and rescue operations since operations began 48 hours ago.

In conjunction with Operation Atlantic Resolve, the 140th Wing, Colorado Air National Guard, from Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado, has deployed approximately 200 Airmen to Pápa Air Base, Hungary, to conduct familiarization training.

Oregon National Guard dedicates solar array in Pendleton

Mike Peterkin, deputy chief of conservation, right, and Todd Eubank, biologist for threatened and endangered species are tracking a bat roost at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, as part of the Acoustic Bat Training class held by the Environmental Management Office from July 11-16, 2016. The purpose of the class was to train the environmentalists on new methods of capturing ultrasonic bat calls that are used to recognize and identify the calls with the species they belong to. This information will further their understanding about the bat habitats, and how Camp Atterbury’s training affects their ecosystem.

New York Army National Guard CH-47 F model left the Army Aviation Support Facility in Rochester, N.Y. for Stratton Air National Guard Base in Schenectady, N.Y. on July 27, 2016, aviators and crew members from Detachment 1, Company B, 3rd Battalion 126th Aviation Regiment picked up service members from the New York National Guard’s 2nd Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Team (CST) and landed at the Burlington Air National Guard Base in Vermont. The Battalion is part of the 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade.
