James’ visit to the 119th Wing included meetings with Guard leaders and elected and civic officials, followed by an all-staff meeting that was attended by North Dakota Air National Guard members.

Spc. Christopher Anderson, carpentry/masonry specialist, sands and smooths plaster on the ceiling. He is with other Soldiers of the 851st Vertical Engineer Company and members of the Croatian Army, Armored Mechanic Brigade, working together for repairs and to rebuild a roof on a damaged community center in the local town of Račinovci, Croatia.  The project is a Humanitarian Civic Assistance project made possible by the U.S. European Command in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Zagreb, Croatia.

Airmen and aircraft from the New York Air National Guard's 109th AW stage out of Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, during the summer months, supplying fuel and supplies and transporting passengers in and out of various National Science Foundation camps on the ice shelf in Greenland throughout the entire season. The unique capabilities of the ski-equipped LC-130 aircraft make it the only one of its kind in the U.S. military, able to land on snow and ice.

Washington's Armored Brigade Combat Team to convert to Stryker Brigade

Soldiers with P Troop, 4th Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment download Stryker armored vehicles and other military equipment from a railhead June 30, 2015 in Nowa Deba, Poland. The troop, based out of Vilsek, Germany, arrived with approximately 20 Stryker vehicles to begin several weeks of training with the Polish 6th Airborne Brigade. The Soldiers are participating in Atlantic Resolve, an ongoing multinational partnership.
